Hi I’m Hannah.
I’m a single mom to my two not so little babies, Maddi and Waylon, and three kitties. We are located on the central coast of California, for now anyway! Glitter From The Barn was started in 2020, I know, what was I thinking? I was in a bad car accident in 2019 that left me severely injured and unable to continue working in my career. Opening a boutique had been on my mind for quite some time, but it was a pipe dream that I never thought would be possible. During my recovery from my accident, I came across braided leather bags. With too much time on my hands, being mostly immobile, and being stuck inside with all that time, I watched YouTube videos like it was my full time job, and ordered some leather. A million tries and quite a few tears later, I had learned a very basic leather braid. With some more tears and some more time I came up with my first product, a wrist strap. On a whim I created an Etsy and listed it, thinking nothing would happen and I could close this chapter. Low and behold, the next day I woke up to my first sale! At that point Glitter From The Barn was officially off and running. I am continuing to try and grow this little business of mine, while raising my little humans.
